Unstable combustion of methane-air mixtures in a bubbling fluidized bed of catalytic material has been observed and analyzed. With the reactor continuously supplied with the substrates, oscillations of state variables, especially the bed temperature and the degree of conversion of methane can take p

โฆ Synopsis
A new NOx-free combustion system using a new catalyst produced from stainless steel by special treatment was proposed and studied. A series of experiments verified that this new system could produce a high reduction rate of NO under the hostile flue gas conditions of a practical combustion process.
