M o r t a l i t y of A t l a n t i c salmon alevins in solutions containing A1 and dissolved organic anions (both synthetic and natural) was correlated with A1 accumulation in alevin tissues. Both m o r t a l i t y and accumulation could be related to the concentration differences between A1 and org
