โœฆ Synopsis


In this work we present deuterium analysis performed using the 2 H( 3 He,a) 1 H Nuclear Reaction Analysis method. Different sets of sintered polished uranium oxide disks have been investigated before and after annealing at 400 ยฐC in ArD 2 atmosphere. Heterogeneous lateral deuterium distributions have been found for all the ArD 2 annealed UO 2 disks. The average deuterium amount increases after annealing at 400 ยฐC in ArD 2 and decreases after a second annealing at 400 ยฐC in vacuum whatever is the set of sintered polished uranium oxide disks.
