object-Vibrations amplitudes in graphite are determined using the temperature dependent intensity diminution of the (002)-, (004)-. (1 lo)-and (112)-reflections between room-temperature and 1900ยฐC. Elesides Lorentz polarization and atomic scattering factors the integrated intensities were corrected for thermal diffuse scattering (TDS). For this leason a modified Debye-model has been established to calculate the TDS in powder diagrams of layer structures.
