✦ Synopsis
Small-angle light scattering technique has been used to record changes in spherulite size during non-isothermal crystallization of low-density polyethylene under different cooling conditions. From these changes, the spherulite growth rates at various temperatures in the range 72-91 ° have been determined. The results are discussed on the basis of the Hoffman-Lauritzen theory.
