β¦ Synopsis
Evidently it is important to assess total organic content, in addition to recoverable bitumen, because these two quantities may differ considerably. Regardless of the bitumen separation method used, the difference has clear environmental implications in its effect on the nature of the tailings. In processing low-grade oil sands, difficulties in establishing a mass balance of organic matter can be envisaged unless total organic content is measured.

The PDSC and __Rancimat__ experiments were carried out at a temperature in the range of 90β160β Β°C. From resultin
The Job's continuous variation method [l] is modified for binary mixtures. On this base the composition of chloroform adducts to n and rc electron containing molecules (e.g. amines, ketones and ethers with aliphatic and aromatic substituents) is discussed. The structure of these adducts is considere
