Titrations of NH4 ggTc04 with Sn(ll)S04 and reverse titrations of Sn(ll)S04 with NH4 "Tc04 were performed at a M concentration level in the presence of 0.1 M EHDP at pH 2.5, 7.0 and 12.0, respectively. The end points were determined potentiometrically using platinum and saturated calomel electrodes. The titration solutions were continuously purged with oxygen-free nitrogen. After each addition of an incremental titrant volume enough time was allotted to attain a constant cell -EMF (typically a titration took 2 hours). Sn(ll)S04 solutions were standardized against KBr03 by biamperometric titration in acid KBr solution; NH4 Tc04 solutions were standardized by measuring the UV-absorbance at 248 nm using a molar extinction coefficient of 6220 M -l cm'l (1). The titration results are given in Table 1.
