The stress state in an endless edge-bonded strip made of two dissimilar materials is investigated in an analytical procedure which considers the existence of two singularities at the ends of the interface. As a main result the dependency is described between the generalized stress intensity factor K, characterizing the amplitude of the singular stresses, the exponent w of the singularity, and the constant stress term.
