✦ Synopsis


Ahstrati-A new procedure for determination of stability constants by means of pulse voltammetry at microelectrodes is presented. Normal pulse voltammetry at a copper microdisk electrode was employed to determine stability constants of the dichlorcuprate(1) complex ion in aqueous solution. Copper(I) ions were generated during pulses to positive potentials and the value of the overall formation constant was determined from the shift in potential of normal pulse voltammograms. The method gives fast and reliable measurements of stability constants and extends the range of possible measurements.
