โœฆ Synopsis

Flow injection analysis (F1A)/chemiluminescence detection has been used to the determination of Al(III), Zn(II), Cd(II), and In(III). Fluorescent compound which was formed by complexation of a metal ion and 8-hydroxyquinoline was excited by the chemiluminescence reaction of bis(2,4,6trichlorophenyl)oxalate and hydrogen peroxide. The chemiluminescence emission generated from the excited fluorescent compound was measured. The influences of the flow rate, pH, organic solvent and its concentration in mobile phase have been investigated. When 1,4-dioxane was used as an organic solvent, the highest chemiluminescence intensity was obtained at about pH 7. The detection limits for the metal ions were in the 20-70 ppb range. The simultaneous determination of the metal ions have further been attempted by the high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)/ chemiluminescence method.

An novel analytical method consisting of flow-injection sampling and chemiluminescence (CL) detection for determination of anticancer drug hydroxycamptothecinum (HCPT) is described. It is based on the CL reaction of potassium permanganate-formaldehyde-HCPT system. The formaldehyde-sensitized CL emis
