Instrumentation and analytical procedures for the direct determination of lead, copper and cadmium in alcoholic beverages in the concentration range I.-100 rJg I-' are outlined.
The results are discussed with respect to detection limit, precision and time for analysis.
Comparison with results obtained with atomic absorption spectrometry showed discrepancies of less than 15%.
