Microsatellite variation was analyzed in five Chinese indigenous goat breeds, which include four Cashmere breeds (Tibetan, Neimonggol, Liaoning, Taihang) and one Hubei local breed (Matou) used for meat production. Five ovine and one bovine microsatellites, selected from eight ovine microsatellites a
