Three nonpolar organic polymers containing small amounts of polar functionality were studied with regard to their surface characteristics. Two of the materials, potassium chlorate/ sulfuric acid-oxidized polyethylene and poly(ethy1ene-co-acrylic acid) display variable surface polarities which can be
