β¦ Synopsis
In the frame of Bean critical state model an analysis of ac inductive measurements response of high temperature superconducting thin films has been made. The full magnetic moment and ac losses during the magnetic field cycle has been determined. A connection is found between the critical current density, J c and the field of maximum losses, H*. Estimation of J c at different areas of the film gives information about the sample's homogeneity.
