✦ Synopsis

A method for the determination of amprolium in feed stuff by analytical capillary isotachophoresis with column coupling is described. Up to 20 PI of the raw water extract of amprolium from a feed stuff can be analysed directly without any pretreatment in 15 min. The detection limit reached the level of ppm, the reproducibility of analyses in the followed range of 0.2-1.2 nmoles was 3 re]. %. Amprolium, 1-(4-amino-2-propyl-5-pyrimidinylmethyl)-2methylpyridinium chloride hydrochloride (see Fig. l), is an efficient veterinary drug for the treatment and prevention ofoutbreaks of coccidiosis in poultry. The presented paper deals with the determination of nitrates by capillary isotachophoresis. The determination was tested on vegetable samples bought in the shop and the market hall. High nitrates concentration in vegetable is mainly due to excessive nitrogen content in the soil system, thus deterio
