✦ Synopsis

In part I of this paper we adapt the detectives of for symmetries of attractors of symmetric dynamical systems to apply to experiments. As an illustration of this theory we consider the dynamics of a system of four forced coupled electronic oscillators with full permutation symmetry ($4). On varying parameters in the circuit we obtain attractors with many different symmetry types and detect these using the methods described in part I.
