โœฆ Synopsis

Antibodies with specificity towards abscisie acid (ABA) were produced in rabbits. These antibodies were used for assaying ABA by the inhibition of inactivation of modified bacteriophage. For this assay conjugates of ABA with bacteriophage T 4 were prepared and characterized. Such chemically modified bacteriophages were completely inactivated by the specific anti-ABA serum and this inactivation was inhibited by free ABA. The identification and quantitative determination of ABA in plant extracts by this method are demonstrated and the method is compared with a common bioassay.

## BACKGROUND. Effective noninvasive methods for monitoring patients with bladder carcinoma and screening for bladder carcinoma that show better performance than the methods currently in use would be desirable for detecting urothelial carcinoma at an early, easily treatable stage. A rapidly hydrol

In this report we describe an enzymelinked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the quantitation of abscisic acid (ABA) in plant extracts. A microtitration plate is coated with an ABA-protein complex. The ABA, standard or sample, is then added to each well with a limiting quantity of rabbit anti-ABA anti

Hemophilia is a recessive, hereditary disease linked to the X chromosome affecting primarily males, with the most common form being type A. The purpose of this investigation was to detect carriers related to hemophiliac patients identified in the northeastern part of Mexico. Twentyone families of he
