โฆ Synopsis
It is true to say that the period under review has not seen major advances in general methodology for the detection and characterization of antibodies. Techniques developed during the preceding decade have shown suIh cient sensitivity, ease and diversity of application to fulIil most requirements. The main improvements have been due to the increasing availability of quality reagents, in particular, highly specific, conjugated second antibodies for the detection of primary immunoglobulins (Ig), whether they are monoclonal or serum-derived.
