Abstract
X‐ray lines of ions in a solid target interacting with picosecond laser pulses of the intensity ∼3 × 10^17^ W/cm^2^ were studied on the “Neodim” laser facility. We observed X‐ray Ly~α~ emission spectra of hydrogen‐like fluorine ions. Satellite lines were also recorded, evidencing the presence of intense plasma oscillations with an amplitude of the electric field larger than 10^8^ V/cm and a frequency of about 10^15^ s^–1^.
