Jack Pfister has served as General Manager of Salt River Project, a major western utility, since 1976. He holds a B.S. in metallurgical engineering and a law degree from the University of Arizona and was in the private practice of law for ten years before joining Salt River in 1970. He serves on a variety of Phoenix and Arizona community organizations. He has served also on the board of directors and as chairman of the board of the Electric Power Research Institute, and as president of the American Public Power Association.
