✦ Synopsis

Based on active operation of a membrane plant begun February 23, 1993, the New Rochelle Water Company believes that membrane technology will become more and more viable as regulations become more stringent and costs decrease. This plant allows assessment of UF to comply with the Surface Water Treatment Rule and Disinfection By-Products Rule simultaneously and carr~ out long-term studies of membranes for higher water quality in day to day operations.
