Abstract

In this article we design triple‐band parallel‐coupled bandpass filters by using asymmetric parallel‐coupled lines which have more degrees of freedom to satisfy the coupling rules in the triple bands. Stepped‐impedance resonator is used with its controllable high‐order resonance frequencies. Two examples of filters are presented, in which simulation and measurement results have good agreements. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
