✦ Synopsis

A universal mathematical model has been developed for staged through-circulation dryers with air reversals on the basis of the general expression of the characteristic drying curves. The model can be used for analysis and design calculation of the drying of any material in such a process. The effects of some factors and a method for the decision of operating conditions and parameters are discussed.
