The design of low sidelobe radiation patterns for array antennas mounted o¨er aircrafts or ships is performed by an optimization procedure. The optimization leads to a set of excitation coefficients that optimize conformal antennas o¨er the ¨ehicular platform considering both electromagnetic coupling with the ¨ehicle and mutual coupling between array elements.
