A music centre containing a large (1300 seats) and a small (400 seats) concert hall has been built in the city of Eindhoven. The music centre is integrated into a larger building complex, called the 'Heuvel-Galerie" with shopping area (malls), recreational facilities, parking, offices and apartments

β¦ Synopsis
The diffraction properties o fan array of reflectors have been analyzed and the reflection characteristics are shown to divide into two frequency ranges. Below the limiting frequency of the single plates, the important parameter is the relative closed area of the reflector array. A t high frequencies there are strong local variations, and the performance of a reflector array can improve if the size of the panels is reduced and the relative closed area is increased or kept constant. These principles have been used for a new design of ceiling reflectors in the Danish Radio Concert Hall in Copenhagen.
