## Abstract Glucose isomerase in the form of heat‐treated whole‐cell enzyme prepared from __Streptomyces phaeochromogenus__ follows the reversible single‐substrate reaction kinetics in isomerization of glucose to fructose. Based on the Kinetic constants determined and the mathematical model of the
