β¦ Synopsis
A new method for designing IIR multiple notch filters is presented, which satisfies the notch frequency specifications exactly and realizes 3 dB rejection bandwidths which are lower than those specified. An allpass filter-based realization has been worked out to make the design relatively insensitive to coefficient inaccuracies. Illustrative examples are given.

A simple rapidly convergent method is described for the design of two-channel IIR perfect reconstruction quadrature mirror filters. For any prescribed characteristic, it has been shown how one can construct a stable two-channel IIR banks, starting from any random transmission zero locations. A simpl
This paper presents a new method for designing two-channel IIR linear phase filter banks that satisfy both the perfect reconstruction and stability conditions, using allpass filters. Using the perfect reconstruction condition for filter banks, we first offer a class of structurally perfect reconstru
In this paper, Bernstein polynomials have been used to derive an explicit formula for the coefficients of linear phase FIR notch filters which are maximally flat at "0 and . The approach is relatively simple and enables us to design the filter for a specific notch frequency and bandwidth.
