Abstract

Equations of kinetics of crystallisation are derived on the basis of classical and known empirical formulas in order to find under real conditions for design purposes the key to nucleation rate, nucleation order, crystal growth rate, and crystals population density. With a series of agitated crystallisers the use of the derived equations is shown.
