✦ Synopsis
Abstract
This article presents a microstrip diplexer with 2.4/5.2 GHz response by using the simple coupled resonators for reducing the circuit size. Stepped impedance resonator (SIR) can be shared by the two filter channels for the designed diplexer if their fundamental and the higher order frequencies are properly assigned. The diplexer has only three simple resonators which can achieve both two good passbands and effectively reduce the circuit size. Measured results of the proposed diplexer have a good agreement with the electromagnetic (EM) simulated results. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this letter, a highly selective microstrip bandpass filter using triangular open‐loop resonators with improved cross‐coupled structure is designed, fabricated, and measured. The new cross coupling structure is implemented by inserting two L‐shaped stubs into the triangular open‐loop
## Abstract This article presents a method of synthesizing a microwave filter consisting of asymmetrical compact microstrip resonators. This filter is compact in size and exhibits a third‐order characteristic in the passband and four controllable transmission zeros on the stop bands to enhance the
## Abstract We present a novel UMTS diplexer design using the filters of antiparallel‐coupled lines structure loaded with a stepped impedance microstrip resonator. The diplexer is composed of two filters. And a microstrip line of quarter‐wavelength is used to links each filter to the common port. T
