We report several kinds of interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) with nonlinear optical (NLO) properties. DMA spectra show that the two components of the IPNs have good compatibility with each other. The NLO materials have good optical transparency. The thermal stability of alignment was improved

Interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) based on polyurethane and polyacylate-containing 4-(4'-nitrophenylazo) aniline chromophore groups were synthesized and characterized by infrared spectra, gel content and differential scanning calorimet y . Thin, transparent films of the IPNs were prepared by
Two photocrosslinkable NLO polymers of poly(glycidyl methacrylate) substituted with 4-nitro-4ะ-hydroxyl stilbene (PGMAS) and acryloyl-functionalized epoxybased polymer (PENAA) carrying 4-nitroaniline moieties were synthesized and characterized. By using the sulfonium salt cationic photoinitiator BDS
We report the synthesis and characterization of interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) exhibiting nonlinear optical (NLO) properties. The network consists of aliphatic polycarbonate urethane (PCU) and poly(methy1 methacrylate-co-N,N-disubstituted urea), with a nonlinear optical (NLO) chromophore i
Two kinds of interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) containing 4-(4'-nitrophenylazo)aniline chromophore groups were synthesized. A polyacrylate network was prepared by polymerization of Dispersed Red-19 (DR-19) diacrylate, whereas an epoxy resin network was formed by reaction of Bisphenol A-type e
