This article describes external microstrip᎐microslot applicators with se¨eral patches radiating through one or se¨eral apertures that ha¨e been de¨eloped for microwa¨e hyperthermia controlled by microwa¨e radiometry. The possibility of obtaining larger heating patterns ( than with the single microstrip᎐microslot applicators one patch radiat-) ing through one aperture is clearly focused by the theoretical results that are presented and ¨erified by experimental measurements.
