Abstract

In this article, multi‐band antenna covering LTE700/GSM850/GSM900/DCS1800/PCS1900 for mobile terminal is presented. The proposed capacitive feeding antenna is a IFA type antenna and implemented as a PCB embedded antenna (PEA). Broad bandwidth in low‐band is achieved using pattern overlapped capacitive feeding. Simulation is conducted to verify broad low‐band and multi‐band operation using HFSS and experimental results are also presented. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
