✦ Synopsis

A short description of the theoretical basis of the method is given, followed by the results of the diameter observations of four giant stars obtained in 1964 and 1971 With the 30-cm refractor of the.Lohrrnann Observatory. The angular diameters found are as follows: 7 Gem (IvI3III) ofoogg * 0:0015; , u Gem (M3III) .o:o135 & 0 : 0 0 2 5 ; 187 B. Gem (K5) oroozg + O:'OOOI; 31 Leo (K4III) ofoo3g & o:'oooz. In two tables a general view on the diameter and double star observations z i n g occultation technique published until the middle of 1974 is given.

Some characteristic variations of the solar cell performance on the lunar base, from Apollo lunar missions, are presented and analyzed. Two specific aspects, solar cell output variation during the lunar day and through several years are discussed.
