✦ Synopsis
Oenticulatolide, an ichthyotoxic cembranoid diterpene bearing acetoxy, o-methylene y-lactone, and cyclic peroxide functions, has been isolated from the soft coral Lobophytum denticulatum. The structure (1) has been determined by spectral and chemical evidence and X-ray crystallographic method.
