β¦ Synopsis
LIQUID-VAPOUR phase data for the system neonnitrogen have been reported in an earlier paper 1 for the temperature range 66.13-120.64Β°K, and at pressures up to 68 atm. These measurements have been extended to higher pressures, and data are reported here at seven temperatures in the range 66.13-114.34Β°K, at pressures up to 217 atm.
Densities of the pure components and of seven mixtures have been measured at 100.78Β°K, at pressures up to 544 atm. The liquid-vapour critical pressure at this temperature is 115.6 arm; these measurements therefore cover a wide range of pressures in which the composition of a homogeneous mixture changes continuously from pure nitrogen, a liquid, to pure neon, a supercritical compressed gas.
