✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A rapid method for the detection and quantltatlve determlnation of unsaturated fatty acids by TLC is presented. After separation on HPTLC‐RP~18~‐plates, reaction wlth p‐hydroxybenzaldehyde is carried out by a dipping procedure. Nanogram amounts of unsaturated fatty acids can be determined with good reproducibility.
