โฆ Synopsis
Density measurements at given temperatures and pressures in the compressed liquid phase for ethanol were carried out with a metal-bellows variable volumometer along eight isotherms between 310 K and 480 K at pressures from the vapor pressure to 200 MPa. The results cover the high-density region from 536 kgโขm -3 to 882 kgโขm -3 . The experimental uncertainties of temperature T, pressure p, and density r were estimated to be 24 mK, 20.0010โขp, and 20.0010โขr, respectively. Measurements of saturated liquid density at temperatures from 320 K to 480 K are also reported. The isothermal compressibility and isobaric expansivity on the basis of the present results are presented.
