The opening ceremony was held in the Auditorium of the Federal University of Curitiba when its Rector, Professor Ocyron Cunha, gave an address on the transcendental function of sound in man's life. Professor Ennes, General Chairman, presented the foreign invited guests from Latin America, the USA a
