Suspensions of soil repeatedly treated with carbofuran under glasshouse conditions enhanced the degradation of carbofuran signiÐcantly in a mineral salts medium. Ninety-seven per cent of the applied carbofuran degraded in a medium inoculated with soil suspensions treated with carbofuran, compared to
