Plastic deformation is an important process to improve and obtain final product for sintered powder materials to compete with solid metal formed parts. The densification behaviour and forming limits of sintered iron-0.35% carbon steel preforms with different aspect ratios, during cold upsetting with

β¦ Synopsis
The purpose of the paper is to present the theory of deformation of P/M materials. The paper has a review character and can be useful for scientists working in modeling of P/M materials.
The paper is divided into two parts. In the first part the thermodynamics of deformation of P/M materials are recalled. In the second one the thermo-plasticity of powder metals are discussed.
