Abstract
A case of rapidly progressive, obliterative arterial disease in a non-smoking young male is described. The only predisposing factor found was a substantial impairment of fibrinolytic activity. Treatment with an anabolic steroid increased fibrinolysis but had to be discontinued because of side effects.
