Año 2015. Tras varios años adscrito al Centro Nacional de Inteligencia, Rafael Perteguer ha regresado al Cuerpo Nacional de Policía y ha ascendido a Inspector Jefe. Sin embargo las puertas de la Brigada de Homicidios están cerradas para Perteguer tras la jubilación del comisario Velázquez, ya que el nuevo jefe de la brigada, Javier Callahan, ha vetado su regreso a la unidad. Entretanto, en la ciudad de Madrid aparecen tres mujeres muertas por quien parece ser un imitador del asesino de la Dalia Negra, y que juega con la policía dejando junto a los cadáveres un poema de Rosalía de Castro.
