โœฆ Synopsis

Slov+~ depolarization of f in a tranwerse field has been used to measure relaxation effects in puamagnetic MnCl2 solutions. Ti' data show nonlinear dependence on ion concentration. Consistent explanation is achieved by assuming that the muon replaces a proton, forming '&LO, and applying relaxation mechanisrrs as developed for MI-?+ solutions from NMR and ESR studies. T2 temperature dependence in a 3 M solution iscompatible with concentration-dependent activation energy for rotational aodels of the MnlC(H20)e complex.
