✦ Synopsis

The 7-ray spectrum of ~5~I'b following the fl --decay of ~SgGd has been studied through 7 spectroscopy. A new branch in the ~59Gd decay has been evidenced through the observation of two new 7 transitions with 273.6 and 753.7 keV attributed to 159Tb. A level with 891.3 keV belonging to ~59Tb has been observed for the first time by following the ~59Gd decay. Four 7 transitions previously attributed to this decay were not confirmed.

The decay by electron capture of G<I lsa (half-life 236 days) is studied with a coincidence Scintillation Spectrometer.
