โœฆ Synopsis

Set in the Sixties, Joe Simpson is a cynical reporter who survived a scarred childhood. He fled the big city and ended up in the small resort town of Applewood where he writes for the Applewood Gazette. Strange events take place. A young girl drowns off a motorboat. An ordinary farmer plants a hoe in his wife's back. The assistant manageress of the bank vanishes without a trace. The entire town appears off-kilter. The action heats up when the town's first hippie opens up a record shop and invites some menacing friends to take up residence. Big money is moving in to develop the town's shoreline into a glitzy resort. Applewood is about to erupt and it is Joe's job to get to the bottom of it
