"Ghost in the Pages", now published as "Dead and Gone", is a story that began from the small seed of acharacter Iinvented in my head about 5 years ago. His name was Luke, he owned a cafe, and yes, before you say it, he was very much like Luke from Gilmore Girls, eventhough I hadn't seen the show back then.
As it happened, when I began writing this story in 2016, I had recently watched Gilmore Girls for the first time andrealised how much mycharacter was like Luke. So, he got a rewrite. Slightly. Luckily, my guy had never worn his cap backwards, so nothingphysical needed to be changed.
From the love for thischaracter a story was born, and despite my evil knack for tragic storylines, I justcouldn't bring myself to leave this on a sad note. I am a truebeliever in soul mates and love at first sight; I'm a mushy romantic at heart, and I really enjoyed writing "Dead and Gone".
