The magnetism of electrochemically delithiated Li x [Ni 1/2 Mn 3/2 ]O 4 samples with space group P4 3 32 has been studied by dc-magnetization measurements. For the x = 1 sample, the temperature (T ) dependence of the magnetization/field (=M/H) showed the appearance of a spontaneous magnetization bel
Amongst the other physical properties, the structure of fullerene solids, and the structural transformations with temperature, pressure and doping have all evoked considerable interest and during the la~st two years tremendous progress has been made in this area. This paper provides a brief review o
A generator system for pulsed power is described which employs a tic superconducting magnet in a magnetic flux compression scheme. Experience with a small-scale generator together with projections of numerical models indicate potential applications to fusion research and commercial power generation.
We present magnetization studies on the quaternary intermetallic superconductor YNizB2C. We have observed magnetic history effects that establish its response as consistent with that of a conventional hard type-II superconductor, and we also report irreversibility line measurements.
A C-shaped electromagnet with superconducting coils for the foursector deuteron cyclotron of energy about 100 MeV is being developed at the JINR LNP. This cyclotron is the second stage of an accelerating complex for the neutron generator for the electronuclear method of energy generation. The maximu
