✦ Synopsis

At the Third International Conference on Cultural Economics and Planning, requests for information on available data sets and offers of data sets for analysis crossed frequently. This crossing as opposed to meeting of supply and demand indicated the need for someone to play the role of broker. Hence, our first attempt to provide a data clearing house.

If you have a data set you would be willing to share with other researchers, please let us know. Be sure to include the forms in which the data are available (e.g., tape, disk, card, hard copy, etc.), the contact person, and cost, if any.

If you are searchiqg for data you feel may exist out in limbo somewhere, please let us know that, too.

We will publish the accrued information in the next volume of the Journal of Cultural Economics.
