So. 1-3 s u m m n 7 3,3-Bis-chloromethyl-oxetane and 3-ethyl-3-chloromethyl-oxetane form a solid solution and copolymerize in the solid state with BF, gas. It has been shown that the composition of the copolymers obtained is the same as that of the initial comonomers. Similar results had already been obtained by y-irradiation. The conversion is remarkably influenced by the size of the comonomer crystals.
