Abstract

Das Ditropylium‐dihexachloroantimonat (6) wird durch Umsetzung von Heptafulvalen (5) mit Antimonpentachlorid in über 70proz. Ausbeute dargestellt. Die für die Reaktion wahrscheinlichen Bildungsmechanismen sowie die ^1^H‐NMR‐, ^13^C‐NMR‐, UV‐ und IR‐Spektren von 6 werden diskutiert. Sowohl für 5 als auch für 6 werden Berechnungen nach der HMO‐Methode sowie der ω‐Technik ausgeführt und diese mit den experimentellen Daten korreliert.
